We are seeking a seasoned IT Security Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Retail industry. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for protecting our computer systems and networks, ensuring the security of our digital data and infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of network security, including the ability to identify and remediate security threats, and extensive experience with Reliaquest, Active Directory, and Cloud Security.

Responsibilities:

As an IT Security Engineer, you will:

1. Develop and implement security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data.
2. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the latest threats, vulnerabilities, mitigation, and industry best practices.
3. Identify and remediate security threats, vulnerabilities, and risk across the organization.
4. Design, implement, and maintain the organization's security architecture using Reliaquest.
5. Manage and administer the organization's Active Directory.
6. Develop and implement cloud security measures to protect the organization's cloud-based systems and data.
7. Conduct regular security audits and provide recommendations for improving the security of the organization's IT systems.
8. Respond to security incidents and provide thorough post-event analyses.
9. Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
10. Provide training and guidance to staff on information security best practices.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on network security, threat identification, and remediation.
3. Proven experience with Reliaquest, Active Directory, and Cloud Security.
4. Strong knowledge of current security threats, techniques, and landscape, as well as a proactive approach to staying updated with the latest security trends.
5. Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and security controls.
6. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
8. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex security issues to non-technical staff.
9. A team player with excellent interpersonal skills, who can also work independently when required.
