The Project Manager is responsible for regularly managing projects including team level integration. The person plays a critical role in managing project schedules, resources, quality and making recommendations within the project scope. The Project Manager also drives the team towards continuous improvement by analyzing the issues of previous projects. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate may primarily support our system replacement project by leveraging their expertise to communicate requirements, identify test cases, and execute user acceptance testing. They will collaborate closely with their functional team to ensure alignment with business processes and system requirements.

Responsibilities 

  • Use established processes to solicit and document project risk.
  • Review the project schedule with senior management and all other stakeholders that will be affected by the project activities and make updates as required.
  • Set priority, allocate tasks, and coordinate with project staff to meet project targets and milestones.
  • Engage extended group of stakeholders in communications as appropriate.
  • Communicate escalations clearly by concisely stating the problem and specific impact to the project.
  • Identify and gather the resources to complete the project.
  • Conduct project postmortems and create a recommendations report documenting the successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Conduct meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in Insurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello, etc.).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in defining system requirements and conducting User Acceptance Testing is a plus.

The pay range for the role is $77,900 to $132,300. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found
