Chief Engineer for Electronic Systems with Security Clearance
* Responsible for program phase gate reviews consistent with the development roadmap.
* Oversees program, proposal and shaping and capture including resource allocation, staffing, facilities and capital equipment, and IRaD investments.
* Recommend improvements to business processes and follow up with executive leadership on initiatives.
* Ensures career development of employees; mentoring, growth assignments, professional seminars, and other educational opportunities.
* Responsible for Business Area inputs to the Technology Strategy and Technology Roadmaps
* Supervises chief engineers working with Business Area Skills/Abilities * System-of-systems level understanding across the portfolio
* A keen awareness of the competitive market and Draper's differentiators
* Able to formulate a successful pursuit strategy that results in successful business capture
* Deep understanding of the Engineering organization
* Exceptional communicator
* Able to successfully lead one or more large scale programs Education Master's degree or Doctorate in Engineering or relevant technical field and 5 years of relevant experience is required.
