Job Description:
Typical task breakdown:
- Execute maintenance/CPI related tasks for the assigned torque converter families. This includes drawing/model updates as well as discussions with suppliers, assembly/test, platform engineering, product support and/or the client.
Technical Skills
(Required)
- Hardware design experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- GD&T knowledge
(Desired)
- Powertrain design, development, or product support experience
- Understanding of Drivetrain performance and oil system functions
- Experience in sleeve and roller bearing selection criteria
- FMEA based validation process experience
- NPI and CPI experience
- Demonstrated ability to use combination of analysis and test to solve problems
- Proficient in Creo modeling
Soft Skills

- Effective communication
- Ability to perform independently as well as part of a team
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communications skills
- Strong initiative
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering curriculum
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in related field
