Do you meet the requirements for this job?
Test Engineer
Conduct hands-on testing in labs and on-site environments.
Travel domestically (primarily to Seattle and Virginia) for deployment testing.
Log issues, pull diagnostics, and report back to dev teams.
Assist with basic debugging and scripting (Python/C++).
Collaborate with engineering team to support prototype, alpha, beta, and deployment phases.
Work with stereo pair cameras and depth sensing technologies.
Must Have:
5+ years of experience in computer vision roles.
Background in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering (mechanical may be acceptable with additional experience).
Hands-on computer vision testing experience.
Experience with stereo camera systems and depth sensing.
Comfort with scripting (Python essential, C++ a plus).
Ability to travel domestically to project sites.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant field.
NiceToHave:
Experience with camera calibration and CV lab testing.
Experience supporting deployment of real-time CV systems.
Industry experience with hardware/software integration.
Exposure to robotics or aerospace (SpaceX background mentioned as similar context).
