Job Description:
Why is this open:
- Back-fill for two consultants on the team - Today provides reliable same-day delivery at scale to our enterprise retail partners via our client Flex Driver delivery partners while also offering in-store pickup.
- The Client Today includes built-in customer service, real-time inventory, out-of-stock buffers, and capacity management controls, allowing our partners to take full advantage of their existing technology investments while adding a new sales channel to drive incremental order volume at retail stores nationwide.
What would happen?
- Delay in deliverables and goal to onboard a specific number of stores to the client Today platform.
Mission:
- Onboard as many stores as possible for client to offer same day delivery to the most customers
Day to Day:
- Manual node configurations using scripts and databases
- Not much coding - but lots of manual system configuration across client Systems
- Provides support to end users on a variety of issues.
- Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.
- Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.
- Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution. May require an associate degree in a related area and 3+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Works under immediate supervision.
- Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
- Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Must Haves:
- 1-3 Years of related work experience
- Recent Programming experience in at least one language e.g. Java, Python, C++, etc
- Strong communication skills
- Associate Degree or higher in a related field
- Ability to quickly understand complex business problems
- Understands Computer Science and/or Computer Engineering fundamentals
- Ability to understand technical documents meticulously execute standard operating procedures defined to support business configuration requirements across various technical services/systems.
- Familiar with HTTP Protocols, REST API's, build environments, CI & CD, testing frameworks.
Plusses:
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Local to NY (not required)
- Aptitude to quickly learn new systems and software
