Mechatronics Engineer

Apex Systems is looking to hire anONSITEMechatronics Engineerfor our client based out of Greensboro, NC.
This assignment is anticipated to be a 12 month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment.
This will also have a first shift Monday-Friday schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, document, and optimize Spare Parts solution needed for technical repairs
• Develop, adapt, and document repair methods & standard times on component, system and vehicle level
• Develop, adapt, and document special tools needed to perform repair methods
• Lead internal technical review related to spare parts, repair methods and standard times to assure coherence
• Ensure that the repair methods & standard times fulfill safety and quality objectives
• Secure to verify, validate and quality assure technical solution prior to introduction in systems
• Ensure the technical solution is synchronized with stakeholders and taking holistic view of entire product value chain
• Take ownership of the parts assortment and repair methods throughout the product lifecycle
• Close collaboration with Product Development Engineering to share learnings from the market and product performance to enhance vehicle uptime
• Use machine learning and business intelligence to drive efficiencies in the day-to-day work to improve dealer workshop autonomy and maintenance effectiveness
• Have a passion/interest for Automation (Python, Java, C++) to develop solutions to drive efficiency in day-to-day work
• Strong skills in Data Analytics to help drive decision making to support the business based on data

Experience:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
• 2+ years of practical knowledge typically obtained through education and work experience.
• Self-sufficient, takes lead on own tasks and able to work/plan independently
• Self-driven proactive engagement with learning opportunities and ongoing experienced development
• Honing skills in own discipline whilst growing a more general, broader view of wider Business Area
• Shows potential for longer-term development
