Location: Lakewood, CO / Remote

Position Summary : Provide systems and process analysis in support of identification of automation opportunities. Provide automation design, development, testing, quality assurance, implementation and training support to multiple client operating units. Typical duties include capturing user requirements; performing coding and data modeling, testing, quality assurance, software configuration management, design, and program documentation; build and deploy, implementation; upgrade; and maintaining interoperability/integration between systems.

General Position Responsibilities:
  • Support analysis of systems and processes to identify automation opportunities
  • Provide consultation, utilizing industry best practices, during automation opportunity identification phases to ensure the client is selecting processes most ideal for automation, and with the highest likelihood for success
  • Lead process mapping exercises to determine as-is and to-be states
  • Complete requirements development and documentation for each process selected for automation
  • Utilize requirements to complete automation designs for client review and approval
  • Provide automation development and testing support to meet all end user and process requirements.
  • Ensure proper Quality Assurance peer reviews prior to code promotion between development, test, and production environments.
  • Develop implementation plans to coincide with approved software release cycles, and in accordance with client business schedules.
  • Ensure Production software change releases are formally approved. All production software releases are formally approved by the application, system, or module owner.
  • Audit findings are resolved using the client's documented processes. No repeat findings for same occurrences.
  • All software and hardware architecture changes follow the client's architecture review process.
  • Application outages are scheduled and communicated according to the client's documented procedures and scheduled to minimize impact to programs.
  • Software development will follow industry best practices and standards.
Support activities for Automation Support and Development include:
  • Applying Software releases to production within a schedule coordinated with product owner and/or Federal managers.
  • Ensuring Software releases applied to production follow the client's software configuration management processes and procedures.
  • Providing ongoing IT Support to client automation technologies, specifically UiPath.
  • Provide ongoing IT Support for existing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) implementations in UiPath.
  • Performing modification to existing RPA implementations for new features, developing new software, and/or extensions to support new and changed requirements.
  • Working with IT, functional staff, and Federal managers on requirements definition and design.
  • Conduct process and system analysis to determine if candidate processes meet standard criteria for successful automation.
  • Complete process mapping for all candidate processes to support determinations of applicability for automation.
  • Create design documentation for all selected and approved processes to be automated, to include to-be process maps and technical configuration documentation.
  • Work with end users to solicit and document requirements for processes to be automated.
  • Conduct design review sessions with end-users, management teams, and other IT Support staff to ensure best practices and client software development processes and procedures are accounted for.
  • Developing solutions with a Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) first approach. Leveraging standard functionality of automation systems and unless proven business value gained by customizing.
  • Ensuring software and hardware configuration management procedures are followed.
  • Providing updates into the incident management (Service Now) system on assigned tickets in accordance with current guidelines.
  • Providing required data into other automated administrative systems to meet management reporting requirements.
  • Communicating plans and status of projects and tasks as requested by project managers.
  • Providing weekly status reports that detail tasks and activities performed to both the client and contract management teams.
  • Assist end-users with business requirements for their collaboration-based solutions and create the appropriate information architecture, taxonomy and solution approach.
  • Coordinate with other IT Support teams during all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Coordinating with Enterprise Architecture team to ensure solution designs meet standards and vision for IT solutions.
  • Create training materials and present a variety of trainings and seminars to small groups.
  • Utilize ITIL and Agile methodologies.
  • Understanding of Cloud software, services and platform development and management.
  • Support tickets are opened and closed with the appropriate documentation.
  • Monitor and tune automation technology performance.
Essential Skills, Experience, and Certifications:
  • As a requirement of this position, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen. In accordance with 6378019243126, Epsilon will not consider candidates for this position who do not meet the aforementioned conditions.
  • 5+ years' experience implementing process Automation
  • 10+ years' experience with performing business analysis and documenting user requirements.
  • Knowledge of document data, code, and functions.
  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies and processes, specifically UiPath
  • Experience with performing coding, testing and debugging of programs and procedures individually and collectively.
  • Experience with other automation technology platforms, such as Ansible or Terraform
  • Experience with and understanding of CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and DevSecOps solutions
  • Experience with designing and developing data models and data architecture
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and Bachman.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead discussions with both technical and functional resources
  • Experience leading teams
