Our company is on the hunt for a dynamic, tech-savvy Network Engineer to join our team. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and customer service skills, as you'll be tasked with providing top-tier network support to our clients. You'll be working on exciting projects, troubleshooting complex network issues, and helping to maintain the integrity of our clients' systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced network engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and is passionate about staying on top of the latest technologies and trends.
Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Network Engineer, you will be responsible for:
1. Providing excellent customer service and support, resolving complex network issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
2. Troubleshooting various network issues including Firewall Support, Microsoft O365, Printers, and software support.
3. Managing and maintaining network security, including firewalls, VPN, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems.
4. Configuring, testing, and troubleshooting network hardware like CISCO Meraki.
5. Working with Active Directory, DNS, and other network services.
6. Assisting in the design and implementation of new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks.
7. Conducting regular network performance tests.
8. Providing remote support via tools like Zoom and RFA.
9. Documenting network problems and resolutions for future reference.
10. Staying up-to-date with network technology trends and developments.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Consulting Network Engineer position, you should possess:
1. Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role in a customer-facing environment.
2. Solid experience with network security and networking technologies (IP, VPN, Wireless, etc.)
3. Hands-on experience with Microsoft O365, Active Directory, DNS, CISCO Meraki, RFA, and Firewalls.
4. Experience in troubleshooting various network issues and providing quick and efficient solutions.
5. Excellent customer service skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
6. Strong knowledge of printers, software support, and firewall support.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
10. Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, or similar are a plus.
