Linux Administrator with Security Clearance

Canfield Cyber Defense Group (CCG) is currently seeking a Mid-level Linux system administrator in Rockville, MD. This position is Onsite and requires an Active Top Secret /SCI to support across several projects. CCG provides a complete self-contained cyber defense enterprise security appliance called CheckMate which implements an Advanced Persistent Defense (APD) with zero trust cybernetic security architecture powered by Phen.AI. CCG's principal goal is to provide and continue to enhance the technology infrastructure and computer applications that are in place to support the present and future business requirements of all organizations. This infrastructure has enabled CCG to maximize and improve its ability to deliver timely, quality services to CCG's clients and to the public, private and DoD. As a Linux Administrator you will: • Design Systems • Support Systems • Travel to client sites • Support applications • Remote Access techniques • Build and deploy systems

• Create Technical documentation Basic Qualifications: • TS/SCI – Clearance • 5 years’ experience in Linux System Design
• 5 plus years of scripting in bash shell, power shell, ruby, python
• 5 years of experience ansible, puppet, networking (host-based and network infrastructure), services (the entire Linux stack), applications, remote access techniques.
• Build and deploy, performance, monitoring, troubleshooting., creating Technician documentation, good communication with customer. Develop and prepares documents for the general design of solutions that meet system and security requirements, including the selection of alternative approaches.
• Have the ability to travel to customers sites 5 to 10% travel • CompTIA Security Certification • CompTIA Linux plus certification
