 About Quality Assurance at UPS Technology:

Our Quality Assurance (QA) team provides world-class automation and quality improvement. They rise to the challenge of testing multiple unique releases, impacting UPSers and customers alike. Our QA teams find and remove any glitches that could jeopardize our integrity. On our QA team, you’ll be at the forefront of keeping our software sailing ahead smoothly.

About this role:

The Software Quality Engineer provides input and support for, and performs full systems life cycle management activities (e.g., analysis, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.) with a specific focus on QA activities for given efforts. He/She participates in automated and manual testing for Applications Development initiatives to meet business requirements. This position provides input to applications development project plans and integrations.

This Software Quality Engineer position will focus on QA activities related to AMSIS, ACMX legacy applications, ANSP mobile device deployments, mobile mechanic deployments and other application/infrastructure upgrades within Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering projects.

If required and where permitted by applicable law, employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by their date of hire/placement to be considered for employment. Fully vaccinated means two weeks after receiving the second shot for Pfizer and Moderna, or two weeks after Johnson & Johnson.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Kowledge of Microsoft Team Foundational Server (TFS)
  • Familiarity with Business Process Analysis, Java Programming, HP Quality Center (QC), Selenium and JMeter
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or the equivalent in education and work experience
