IBM Assembler Language Developer

Please Note:

• Candidates in the local to Washington, D.C. metropolitan area are preferred, however other location will beconsidered.
• Commuting expenses will not be reimbursed.
• ALL Candidates MUST be a US Citizen or have Permanent Resident Status for at least 3 Consecutive Years.

Description of Assignment:

• Work with ALC developers to convert legacy code from ALC to JAVA.
• Develop modernized code in JAVA
• Document existing logic
• Work in agile team to modernize existing systems.

Requirements

Basic Requirements:

• Active IRS MBI clearance
• Bachelor9s Degree or above preferred. More experience is required for non-degreed candidates
• A minimum of 3 3 8* years collective developing applications in IBM Assembler Language
• Experience with Requirements definitions, Development or Testing of the IRS Individual Master File or Business Master File
• Prior experience working on Agile teams.
• Excellent communication skills with client stakeholders at all organizational and technical levels
• Demonstrated ability to seek out information (proactive learning)
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team
