What You'll Do

As a Full-Time Backend Software Developer at Sozoroad, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our software systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively to support our real estate services.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain web applications from concept to deployment as well as to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
2. Design, develop, and deploy server-side code using programming languages such as Python, Ruby, PHP, or Node.js.
3. Design and implement database schemas, queries, and interactions with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
4. Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed for functionality and data exchange.
5. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to industry best practices and standards.
6. Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and maintain high code quality standards.
7. Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard user information and business data.
8. Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure smooth operation of web applications.
9. Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
10. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our development processes and capabilities.

1. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
2. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is not required, but preferred. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.

4. Preferably with a strong portfolio or work experience demonstrating your skills.
