Program Integrated Master Scheduler with Security Clearance
Develop detailed schedules for project phases, deliverables, milestones, and activities, identifying key dependencies and critical path items.
Maintain the schedule baseline, ensuring all changes are captured, and impacts are assessed. Schedule Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and track program progress against schedule, identifying potential delays or deviations, and work with teams to implement corrective actions.
Provide regular status reports and metrics to stakeholders, ensuring transparency in program progress and schedule health and supporting unique program required Supplier Data Request List (SDRL) items.
Conduct schedule risk analysis and assist in mitigating schedule-related risks. Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with the Program Manager, project leads, and cross-functional teams (engineering, supply chain, quality, etc.) to ensure the integrated schedule reflects all aspects of the program.
Act as the central point of contact for schedule-related queries and work to resolve issues that may impact timelines.
Ensure accuracy and alignment between the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) team, the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Budgets
Facilitate schedule reviews and integration meetings with stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed of schedule changes. Critical Path & Risk Management: Identify and manage critical path tasks, ensuring that delays in key activities are addressed promptly to minimize impact on the overall program timeline.
Identify, track, and mitigate schedule risks and issues; ensure effective risk management strategies are in place and acted upon. Change Control & Documentation: Ensure any changes to the scope, timeline, or resources are reflected in the IMS, and that proper change control processes are followed.
Document and track schedule changes, including impacts to cost, scope, and schedule. Establish Scheduling Standards: Develop and implement project scheduling standards, processes, and guidelines for creating lower-level input schedules across various workstreams, ensuring consistency and quality in schedule creation and management.
Provide training and support to team members on best practices for scheduling, schedule updates, and the use of scheduling tools. Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear and concise communication to senior leadership and other stakeholders on schedule status, risks, and corrective actions. This will include weekly activity reports, monthly schedule narratives, & participation in quarterly program reviews.
Prepare & present executive-level briefings and presentations on program scheduling for senior leadership. REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in program scheduling, project management, or related roles, with a strong focus on integrated master scheduling.
Experience in managing large, complex programs or projects with multiple workstreams and dependencies.
Expertise in scheduling software such as Microsoft Project (preferred), Primavera P6, or similar tools
Strong knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), Critical Path Method (CPM), and other project scheduling techniques.
Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to create custom reports, dashboards, and schedule analysis tools.
Must hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.
This position must meet Export Control Compliance requirements, therefore a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22.C.F.R. is required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing project needs.
Attention to detail and ability to anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts before they impact the program.
Strong leadership and influence skills with a proven ability to drive cross-functional teams toward successful program outcomes.
Ability to manage and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Knowledge and experience in the aerospace industry, particularly in aerostructure manufacturing
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY No TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Varies base on location, up to 20% travel may be required for candidates In the Los Angeles area within the continental US during various phases of the program. The potential exists for work at locations that would require more travel. Some local travel (~1hr drive) may be necessary for coordination and training. SALARY The anticipated base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $140,000. Compensation within this range may vary based on work location, experience, education and specific role requirements. In alignment with state and local laws, including those in California and Washington, this range reflects our commitment to fair and equitable compensation practices. WORKING CONDITIONS Working conditions described here are representative of those that may be experienced by an employee daily while performing the functions of this job. Must be able to remain in a stationary state for extended periods / 50% of the time at a computer workstation.
Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
May access and work in the manufacturing plant, and therefore must be able to wear personal protective gear (PPE) when required. Examples include safety shoes, eye protection, and hearing protection.
While performing the duties of this job, employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, caustic chemicals, vibration, and moderate noise level. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to frequently walk and stand for short periods of time.
Must be able to lift and move up to 10lbs, occasionally lift and move objects up to 35lbs.
Must be able to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Must be able to see, talk, hear, touch, feel and reach with hands and arms.
