Job Requirements of Techno Function SME/Consultant (Technical Project Manager):
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with Walmart merchandising systems as a developer, engineer, or techno-functional consultant.
- Strong working knowledge of item setup, pricing rules, and distribution flow logic.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and extract logic from code and configuration files.
- Proven experience in creating and validating business process documentation.
- Familiarity with using AI-based tools to analyze legacy code (e.g., code parsing, logic extraction, flow generation).
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin – able to translate complex technical concepts clearly and accurately.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across technical, functional, and cross-cultural teams.
- Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to reviewing and validating business logic.

Techno Function SME/Consultant (Technical Project Manager)

Key Responsibilities:
- Review source code and config modules to extract business rules, Business process flows, logic, and validation parameters.
- Collaborate with technical teams using AI-enabled parsing tools to generate flow diagrams and documentation from legacy systems.
- Validate flow diagrams and extracted logic against expected system behavior and existing documentation.
- Build and maintain a master list of business rules and validation parameters to support localized system development.
- Work closely with global and China-based stakeholders to ensure alignment on functionality, scope, and standards.
- Support translation of final documentation into Mandarin, ensuring technical accuracy and functional clarity.
- Serve as a bilingual liaison to facilitate ongoing communication between global teams and the China localization effort.
- Provide guidance and insights based on prior experience with Walmart merchandising systems, especially in item, pricing, and distribution domains .
