.Net Application Developer

GuideIT is a US based technology services company focused on providing value to its’ customers through technology alignment and optimization.  We are seeking a .NET developer responsible for building .NET applications using C# 4, ASP.Net MVC, SQL Server 2012, HTML & JavaScript.  Candidate should be familiar with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap and Materialize. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop and support these layers of our applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.  Familiarity with rapid development technologies, AngularJS 1.6.0 and XSLT is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
  • Help maintain code quality and organization
  • Unit Testing of peer-developed code
  • Support and maintain developed applications

Skills

  • 3-5 years of development experience in a corporate environment
  • Strong knowledge of .NET web framework
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap and Materialize
  • Proficient in C# 4, ASP.Net MVC, SQL Server 2012, HTML and JavaScript, with a good knowledge of their ecosystems
  • Experience with AngularJS 1.6.0 and XSLT a strong plus
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Skill for writing reusable libraries
  • Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
  • Knowledge of concurrency patterns
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with popular web application frameworks
  • Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
  • Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Experience with Rapid Development technologies a plus
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Azure DevOps / Visual Studio Team Services
