AEM Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) - for a Remote opportunity with one of the world’s largest providers of Christian resources .  In this position, you'll be responsible for the development, design, testing and deployment of Adobe Experience Management solutions. By working closely with front end User Experience Developers, system administrators, project managers, business analysts and end users, you will build and maintain a state-of-the-art Digital Platform utilizing Adobe's Digital Marketing Product Suite integrated with a leading e-commerce platform.

Responsibilities
  • Build new application components and templates from detailed requirements, to include, but not limited to: analysis of requirements, support of the design, development of the code, and testing of programs and interfaces. Maintain the Jenkins pipeline configuration code release management
  • Modify existing application code or interfaces in addition to monitoring code-base and yearly AEM upgrade preparations
  • Responsible for AEM infrastructure support, content problem resolution, and content publishing
Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe AEM (6.1 and later required; AEM 6.4 preferred)
  • Proven skills in designing, developing, and supporting AEM components, integrations, and applications; building and integrating AEM forms with repository and integrating Adobe Analytics with AEM
  • Strong experience in Front end templates with handlebars management and/or similar template screening
  • Knowledge of Java Content Repository (JCR), RESTful and SOAP-based web services
  • Ability to configure and manage code with Github
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices, object-oriented design, and design patterns
  • Familiarity with Adobe Target, Campaign, Audience

Required Work Experience

  • 4 Years of experience in software development with strong Adobe AEM knowledge
  • 3 years of experience with J2EE programming
  • 2 years of experience with content management technologies

Minimum Education Required

Bachelors Degree in Computer Programming, Computer Science, or related
