DCS Corporation is currently seeking applications for Software Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester (Journeyman level) interested in providing technical products and services support for the United States Marine Corps Future Systems and other Future and Fielded Air Traffic Control & Landing Systems (ATC&LS). The work is being performed at the Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWC) Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) located in St. Inigoes, MD.
Essential Job Functions:
Develops and executes software tests to identify software problems and their causes.
Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
Document software and application defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software or web developers.
Create and maintain databases of known defects. May participate in software design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, operational characteristics, product designs, and schedules for ATC&LS.
Develop solutions to problems in the field of computer hardware and software for ATC&LS.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
BS or BA degree major in at least one of the following subjects: Computer Science, Applied Systems, Information Technology, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics, or Electronics Engineering plus three years of experience is required.
Active Security Clearance.
At least three years of experience performing engineering/scientist functions with the Navy or other DoD activities related to ATC&LS.
