Project Coordinator opportunity with a multinational manufacturing company. (Aerospace and Military)
Scope and Functions:
The project coordinator will be expected to take direction from the technical team leader and the Product Specialist. This person will work to learn the basics of the device and gain a basic understanding of the testing/qualification requirements for this device. These include mechanical (vibration/shock/thermal cycling) and electrical (Capacitance, Inductance, Resistance, Voltage, Current) tests. This person will work with input and mentorship from the engineering technical team.
Work with engineers and technicians to manage and assist in completion of these forms and reports. Keep the data and reports organized such that the material is ready to compile final reports to the customer. Work within the team to continually communicate timing and expectations during and between qualification tests. Keep the technical team leader updated with regular reports and appraised of any concerns in completing tests or meeting deadlines.
Background in engineering or a business degree with demonstrated experience in developing, managing and organizing technical forms, data and reports.
Excellent skills in using personal computers and network folders
Fluent in Microsoft products: Word and Excel (able to learn Microsoft Project)
Ability to communicate well both verbally and in written form
