The CSI Companies is actively seeking a Senior Android Developer to join our core customer mobile app team in Atlanta, GA. This team is responsible for implementing and shipping our customer's facing iOS and Android mobile apps. Our client's App allows users to order ahead, earn points, and redeem rewards to get free food.
We are seeking candidates who are enthusiastic about building mobile apps beyond doing it solely as a job. We are looking for individuals who enjoy staying up-to-date about the latest happenings and trends in the iOS/Android communities through social media, blogs, podcasts, etc.
Basic responsibilities for both iOS and Android will include the following: • Participate and contribute to a small team by asking thoughtful questions, proposing new ideas, and executing on tasks defined by the product owners and business stakeholders • Work closely with designers and stakeholders to extrapolate business requirements into testable and elegant solutions for business needs and problems • Pair and collaborate with other teammates to solve complex problems; work across teams in our engineering organization to define contracts for data flow and modeling
The candidate should have deep experience in mobile platforms.
Minimum qualifications include:
Working on large-scale mobile projects leveraging rigid and complex architectural patterns, such as MVVM, VIPER, etc. and can explain trade-offs and benefits of each • Have worked closely in the past with designers and product managers
Is comfortable working in agile and scrum environments
Is comfortable navigating and learning about complex business domain rules
The ideal candidate would have both: o BS, MS or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field
2+ year(s) experience building apps/features primarily in Swift/Kotlin
3+ year(s) experience building native mobile apps for iOS/Android devices
Demonstrates expertise in mobile app development using latest platform technologies
Is able to describe in detail the implementation of at least one feature or solution in which they led engineering efforts to solve a very difficult or complex problem o Can describe steps that they take when learning about new problem topics
