Can work remote, but my client prefers someone local to the NYC area who can work onsite in the future.

Job Title: Business Analyst / Trainer
Location: Midtown, NY
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 6 months plus


Role:



  • The analyst will be a project team member in the rollout of a new application across all US departments and used by all levels of employees as part of a project driving business process change.



  • This role requires the ability to learn quickly and become proficient in a new system in order to test, train, write user documentation and provide user support of Saas application(s).

Job Requirements

Role/Experience Required:



  • 8-10 years' experience in business analysis or related field including extensive experience writing test cases, creating training/user guides, preparing user communication and conducting training and testing sessions



  • Must have configuration experience



  • Must have worked with workflows 



  • Ability to learn new systems, utilizing all methods of learning (training, online knowledge base, etc.)



  • Solid analytical and conceptual thinking skills



  • Excellent written and communication skills with a focus on internal customers



  • Proactive with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision



  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio



  • Create test cases and coordinate/lead user acceptance testing



  • Create user communication/documentation/user and training guides



  • Conduct focused user training, ensuring it is tailored to the role of the user and utilizing both classroom style and individual sessions



  • Schedule meetings/workshops and prepare meeting documentation



  • Follow up with project team members on deliverables and requirements



  • Assist with QA in coordination with the configuration analyst



  • Ability to learn a new system, become a subject matter expert and provide user support



  • Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of project tasks
