Job Title:  Business Analyst - Insurance Industry

Location: Schaumburg, IL

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: 3-6-month contract to hire

Job Requirements

    Required Experience:
    • 4+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst or similar position
    • 2+ years of insurance experience is required with specific Insurance system life cycle experience (Policy, Claims, Billing, etc.), preferably with claims
    • Familiarity with a defect tracking/resolution tool
    • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Management Studio & Microsoft SharePoint
    • Must be able to investigate, research, etc. on new technologies and/or systems with minimal or even no experience
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment, while adapting and adjusting to effectively handle changes in priorities and assignments
    • Experience in a structured environment with increasing levels of responsibility and complexity
    • Self-starting fast learner capable of absorbing high volumes of information
    • Must be able to laisse amongst all levels of an organization
    • Excellent written and oral communications skills
    • Well-developed listening, critical thinking and customer service skills
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills and strong attention to detail
    • Ability to manage and properly prioritize issues of varying importance from multiple sources/applications
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS or related experience
