They have a few different Civil Engineer positions, dealing with both their private and public sector projects. Will complete civil functions and prepare documentation for large construction projects, regulatory program compliance, data management and analysis and field work. Will analyze reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photographs and tests on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics and related topographical and geologic data. Will utilize design software to plan transportation system, hydraulic systems and structures. Will prepare feasibility studies by analyzing engineering design, conducting environmental impact studies and assembling data. Will oversee surveying operations to establish reference points, grades and elevations to guide construction. Will present findings on topics such as bid proposals, environmental impact statements or property descriptions. Will manage the repair, maintenance, and replacement of public and private infrastructures. Will monitor progress, inspect construction site and verify calculations and placements to confirm adherence to construction and safety standards.
Some local travel to job sites is required.
