Job Description



The Client Services Manager is responsible for providing quality and efficient customer service to CareerBuilder Employment Screening customers and clients through the daily management of a team of employees to include hiring, motivating, recognizing and rewarding, coaching, counseling, training, and problem solving.
  • Driving exceptional team performance through:
  • Providing daily leadership to customer service staff in order to meet customer expectations
  • Ensuring timely processing of customer orders and help resolve customer disputes.
  • Identifying system and workflow improvements to enhance the team’s efficiency.
  • Leading and directing the work of others.
  • Relying on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Providing daily direction and communication to employees so that Client Services calls are answered in a timely, efficient and knowledgeable manner.
  • Providing continual evaluation of processes and procedures. Responsible for suggesting methods to improve area operations, efficiency and service.
  • Ensuring employees have appropriate training and other resources to perform their jobs.
  • Establishing work procedures and processes that support the company and departmental standards, procedures and strategic directives.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent work experience in a related field - highly preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years call center management
  • 5+ years customer service representative
  • Exceptional business acumen
  • Prior experience in running customer service teams in larger organizations where they can share back their experience with CareerBuilder Employment Screening
  • Experience in developing a company’s customer service program
  • Business to business knowledge
  • Above average logic and reasoning skills, strong written and verbal communication, excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
