Cloud Security & Systems Engineer

Robert Half IT Search is currently working with a growing client looking to add a Cloud Security & Systems Engineer to their team. This role is completely remote and will require travel. The company is always on the cutting edge of technology and works with some of the most recognizable names in their respective industries.

Essential Functions
• Determine security requirements by assessing business strategies and requirements, researching information security standards, conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments, studying architecture/platform, identifying integration issues, and preparing cost estimates
• Researches new and emerging technologies to evaluate technical trends, requirements and best practices
• Partners with other technical architects within the company to ensure consistency for Enterprise Architecture processes and practices
• Ensures that information security controls meet the requirements of all regulatory and/or contractual requirements
• Establishes collaborative working relationships with internal and external business partners and clients to ensure that technology solutions align with security architecture and business strategy
Requirements
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance including threat intelligence, cloud app security, Office 365 advanced threat protection, and Identity protection
• Good understanding of the Microsoft 365 and Office 365 licensing structure
• Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements
• Knowledge of common information security management frameworks
• Strong background in security operations, process, solutions and technologies as well as policy, compliance, and best practice security principles
• Knowledge of application development, systems engineering, and network engineering to develop security requirements and best practices
• Experience with enterprise risk assessment methodologies
• Experience deploying and migrating to Windows 10 preferred
• Windows 10 security, privacy and advanced configurations preferred
• Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with focus on timeliness, documentation, and communications with peers and business users alike
• Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels within the company or outside the organization (executives, regulators, clients, etc.)
• Results oriented, business focused, and successful at interfacing across multiple organizational units
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
• Systems Center Configuration Manager (push windows updates, office updates, push software to clients/workstations preferred
• System Center Operations Manager (monitoring system for VMs and Hypervisors, and Azure Monitor, patch management, operations manager, script writing, VMware equivalents) preferred
• Strong background in Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory design, implementation and administration desired preferred; ADFS experience preferred
• Ability to migrate from on-premises products and tools to O365, including:
o Skype/Teams
o Exchange
o SharePoint
• Experience in the planning, installation, troubleshooting and administration of Exchange, including Exchange 2013, 2016
knowledge of PowerShell and shell scripting
