DCS is looking for an experienced Computer Engineer to join the team supporting Army Ground Combat Vehicle Systems and Software Integration and Test centers. Support includes performing vehicle electronics systems and software engineering, architecture, and design functions. You will provide requirements analysis, design, development, execution and sustainment of world class vehicle electronics systems, software, and architectures pertaining to command, control, communications and computer system integration for tactical and developmental Army ground vehicle systems.
Essential Job Functions:
Interface directly with project managers, government stakeholders, vendors, and developmental organizations to identify software system requirements, software design and implementations for Combat Vehicle Systems.
Provide inputs to plans of execution to include scope, needs, needs, and schedule.
Design, develop, integrate and test target software against stubs, emulations, COTS , and physical hardware for intended functionality and capability.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 5+ years of experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance.
Experience with tactical systems/subsystems or C4 solutions for Army ground vehicle systems.
Experience in Systems & Software requirements analysis, design, and systems integration pertaining to medium to high complexity hardware/software systems.
Strong C/C++ Knowledge and experience operating within Linux and Windows and various software development environments.
Experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/D) methodologies
Proficiency with data transfer and inter-process communication layer, along with TCP/UDP, serial, CAN interfacing protocols.
Excellent technical, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Travel to various customer and contractor facilities and test centers (10% Travel).
UML modeling knowledge.
Knowledge of Software Development Engineering Processes.
Experience with Virtual Machining.
