CALIBRE, an employee-owned Management Consulting and Information Technology Solutions Company, is looking for a Cyber Engineer to support a Chief Information Officer (CIO) organization within the US Department of Defense (DoD). The work will support the CIO in meeting its mission requirements and further support the execution of programs and missions by, assisting, advising, and providing the community with federated, technology-enabled Human Resources (HR) business and IT processes that are compliant with Departmental policies, strategically aligned, and customer-focused.
Advise Government CIO and Authorizing Official on a range of security-related issues including but not limited to RMF accreditation, establishing information system boundaries, assessing the severity of weaknesses), risk mitigation approaches, security alerts, and vulnerabilities.
Monitor timeliness of accomplishment of required actions and documents pertaining to the A&A of the system throughout its lifecycle.
Review IS security plans and other A&A documents for all applications to determine if mandated procedures and tasks are followed.
Assist with creation of an overall Cybersecurity strategy plan
Assist CIO with coordination of Incident Management activities with the appropriate DoD Computer Emergency Response (CERT) Team representatives.
Assist with ATO and all stages of RMF activities which includes but not limited to preparing accreditation packages, continuous monitoring plans, POAMs, risk assessment reports and creating a security plan.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of the enterprise baseline for security controls, which is stored in the eMASS repository and updated with industry standards. (EMASS)
