- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or other quantitative discipline.
- Must have at least 5 years' relevant years' experience working in analytics, research, business intelligence or IT
- Must have at least 5 years' relevant years' experience in Data Engineering within digital marketing/advertising and preferably related to automotive
- Must have at least 3 years' experience programming SQL in a Hadoop/Cloudera distributed data environments
- Must have at least 3 years' experience automating routine data tasks using various software tools
- Must have at least 3 years' experience managing analytics, business intelligence or IT teams
- Must have at least 3 years' experience creating rich data relationship supporting visualizations, dashboards, executive reports or models.
- Must be proficient or have a strong aptitude using reporting/analytic
- tools such as Tableau, QlikView, DOMO or Datorama
- Must have experience with APIs, RSS feeds and web services.
- Must have strong written & verbal communication skills as well as strong collaboration skills
- Must be able to work in fast paced environment where flexibility is key, and directions can change frequently.
- Must be a self-starter, highly motivated to excel w/minimal supervision.
- Must be highly skilled in using Microsoft Excel, Alteryx or SQL for data manipulation and translation
- Must have excellent critical thinking including questioning 'why” and 'how” as it relates to the data, we are using for each type of project
- Must have the ability to manage against timelines to deliver high quality work for multiple projects across several client engagements
- Must have a strong attention to detail in order to pin-point issues or inconsistencies in data or reports
- Must have solid problem-solving skills to identify multiple approaches for creating a solution and/or identifying when something could be resolved more effectively
- Ability to mine data for the underlying trends and marketing triggers that can drive business results
- An understanding of Adobe analytics tagging, experience with adobe analytics reporting and analysis
