Data Management Support II
Contract: 1 YR
Location: Cordova, TN

Role Purpose

The role will be responsible for data management, data governance, and data quality for products from across the business. The portfolio compliance & sustaining team is seeking qualified candidates to locate and input data for each product that range across the Smith&Nephew Ortho business. As data management support, the successful candidate responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the review of current data, research & review of available data, and documenting of analysed data. Daily metrics will be reviewed as a team to ensure key milestones and deadlines are met. In addition to data management responsibilities for the portfolio compliance surge team, the role may support other master data GS1, Eudamed, and GDSN related projects, as required.

Core Responsibilities
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EU MDR readiness project including milestones, goals, and deadlines
  • Monitor/measure key performance indicators to ensure data quality and accuracy
  • Collaborating promptly with support team to highlight any issues or concerns
  • Aid with resolution of team issues, problems and concerns to ensure the continued success of the project
  • Locating available product data/ information and interaction with key stakeholders and data owners
  • Building and maintaining the central database of product data
  • Ensuring a high quality of data is inputted and fields are inputted right first time
  • Review, individually and as a team, daily metrics and achievements
  • Meet targets and deadlines for data entry Key Skills
  • Highly IT literate, with knowledge of MS excel and office suite
  • Capable of understanding large data sets
  • Stakeholder engagement skills
  • Understanding of the medical industry would be beneficial
  • Self-motivated and checks over own work prior to passing along for review
  • Professional, competent, and able to work as part of a cross functional team
