Database Developer (Direct Hire Perm)

Our client is in search of an experienced Database Developer with proven experience in SQL, SSIS/SSRS, ETL and developing data models. Major bonus points if you have experience with BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, etc. This is a highly rewarding work environment where the company puts their employees first! *Direct hire means you would not be a contractor and be a direct hire of the client company.
What You Will Need:
•4 year degree in Computer Science or equivalent
•2-3 years’ experience in Data Warehouse and ETL
•2-3 years managing a database environment utilizing Microsoft SQL Server
•Excellent, analytical and problem-solving skills
•Microsoft SQL Server (SSIS, SSMS), Red Gate SQL Tools, and Microsoft Team Foundation Server
•Ability to understand and develop data models
•Prior/Current experience with Banking or Financial Institutions
•Knowledge of Banking/Financial Institution regulatory requirements
•Knowledge of BI dashboard tool is a plus

What you will be doing:
•Design, develop, test, implement and support new or revised ETL processes using approved tools and standards.
•Design, develop, test, implement and support new or revised BI dashboards and underlying data sources
•Perform modeling, prototyping, analysis and testing of new or revised database models, reports, and applications.
•Adhere to existing disciplines in place for software/application change control processes in order to meet both regulatory and business requirements.
•Work on multiple projects simultaneously and the ability to multi-task
•Provide input on data management tools, reporting tools, software languages and best practices utilized in the department to insure deliverables are highly efficient and meet project requirements.
•Adhere to project plans and deadlines, and works with manager to identify and address any problem areas that arise.
