This individual will be responsible for carrying out the increasing backlog of designs coming in within our client's Commercial footprint throughout the DMV. They will work with clients from top healthcare providers like Johns Hopkins, University Maryland Medical Systems, and Inova as well as large Government entities like Northrup Grumman.
Day to day responsibilities will be to work with the 5 person engineering team to carry out drafts and designs from a CAD/AutoCAD perspective supporting the fire and security industry. They will have to be able to read and understand blueprints handed over by the customer, to properly execute design. Be communicative with Project managers, Sales, and other engineers on specific projects to ensure a timely deadline.
Candidates who have transitioned from the field supporting Fire and Security to a drafting/design role would be beneficial. Experience with large construction projects is also a huge plus.Skills:
