Desktop Support Analyst

Compensation: DOE

This position will provide first level technical support for software, hardware, and issues to employees. Conduct hardware and software inventory database maintenance and reporting. This role reports to the IT Manager. Education and Experience: Technical degree/training in computer science, information technology, a related field of study, or equivalent experience. Required/Desired Skills Knowledge troubleshooting Windows environment. Outstanding attention to detail Experience with Microsoft Office software suite, including, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word CRM software knowledge preferred; NetSuite a plus Self-starter who takes initiative and accomplishes tasks Excellent problem resolution skills Experience providing desktop support for workstation class computers a plus Must have solid written and verbal communication skills Creation of technical documentation or procedures a plus Must be detail oriented

Job Requirements

Diagnose and resolve issues with phones, end-user network or local printers, PC hardware, email, internet, and network access. Clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly, detail oriented manner Provide one-on-one, end-user training as needed Tag, setup, and assist in the configuration of end-user PC desktops, laptops, mobile devices, software, and peripherals Install and setup new employee logins and accounts, Create and maintain onboarding and offboarding forms Perform desktop hardware repair for PC computer equipment and peripherals that are not covered by warranty Install local area network cabling systems and equipment such as network interface cards, hubs, and switches Maintain asset log database Other duties as required.
