We are currently looking for a professional, Desktop Support Engineer with at least 3 years' experience for our client located in Miami FL. Engineer is responsible in overseeing and updating assigned support service requests, handle daily technical support activities including but not limited to setting up and configuring Windows and Mac desktop and laptops computers and peripherals, installing and testing desktop software applications, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, troubleshooting desktop deployments and printer troubleshooting. The position provides on-site and remote telephone support to a user base of varying computer skills and requires excellent troubleshooting, communications and customer service skills while working independently with minimal direct supervision. Additionally, the position is working in conjunction with a remote services group that receives support assignments directly from the local user base or via a web-based trouble ticketing system. All tickets require accurate reporting and time-tracking.
