Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of this position is to set the strategy and the standards of practice for engineering functions. This includes New Product Introduction, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Maintenance, Automation and Continuous Improvement. This role is expected to be an active member of the site leadership team and to work with other Directors and Managers to develop world class manufacturing engineering and new production introduction road maps to insure efficient profitable Manufacturing Operations. This role must constantly strive to deliver quality products in an environment focused on value add, throughput increases, inventory reduction and operating expense reductions.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

 Adheres to Integer Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.

 Defines common strategies in the areas of Automation and New Process Introduction, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement. Leads the development, planning and implementation of these strategies in collaboration with the Senior Director, Operations.

 Improves the collaboration and coordination between the Engineering, Product Development and the Commercial teams in growing new business through pipeline and internal transfers.

 Plays a leadership role in ensuring site becomes a world class developer of products, processes, and manufacturing systems, continuously enhancing Integer's capability in the area of Automation, New Product Introduction, Manufacturing Engineering, Operational Maintenance and Continuous Improvement.

 Develops in depth familiarity with Integer products, manufacturing technology, and capabilities across the sites. Keeps abreast of next generation/new technology application applicable to the site. Contributes strongly to the definition of product strategy and delivery of the product road map.

 Implements and standardizes Project Management and Project Prioritization methodology and execution across the site.

 Proposes, develops, and implements programs for the automation of suitable processes to maximize efficiency, improve quality and reduce product cost.

 Develops a capital equipment road map.

 Supports the upgrading of equipment as required by the ongoing continuous improvement activity.

 Designs and develops new processes to ensure the stable, on-time launch and ramp up into production of new products.

 Keeps abreast of all Integer capabilities and develop a strong network of subject matter experts across the company.

 Performs other duties as required.

Education & Experience:

 Minimum Education: BS Degree Required, MS or MBA preferred.

 Minimum Experience: 10-12 years' experience at a senior level in a fast moving manufacturing environment. Knowledge of the medical industry is a strong advantage but not essential. Ability to strategize, organize and provide guidance on substantial engineering projects.
