Disposables Labels Associate
Lakewood, CO
Contract: 6+ Months

Summary
Under general supervision, provides communication support by developing content for disposables labels, boxes, and for the company's product lines directed at external customer and internal audiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Obtains knowledge of the businesses' products and the therapies in which they are used
  • Obtains knowledge of industry and company regulatory, labeling, bar coding, and industry standards and applies this knowledge to the completion of all projects
  • With guidance from department manager and senior staff members, works with internal customers to develop label content that address needs for new products, changes to existing products, clinical trials, engineering testing, and regulatory approvals
  • Assists with the development, verification, and implementation of new label content and content changes across all product lines
  • Implements and coordinates training on deployment of disposables label updates to label room associates
  • Under general supervision, has frequent contacts with vendors and or internal customers on routine matters, implementing the various tactics required of the job
  • Takes the initiative to report on project status and anticipates and alerts manager and internal customers of potential project difficulties
  • Develops and assists in the maintenance of artwork, electronic and printed document files to meet departemntal and regulatory requirements for disposables lables and box artwork
  • Maintains the functional area SharePoint site to include user access, document control, project site updates, etc. as the document control administrator
  • Maintains databases and documents specific to functional areas of responsibility
  • Conformance with a stringent process which follows established Manufactuirng Operating Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures, etc
Qualifications:
  • BS degree preferred with a minimum of 2 years of related experience
  • Ability to collaborate and translate business objectives into tangible technical content for skill development at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing/editing, graphic design
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a highly confidential environment with high levels of professionalism
  • Organizing skills and the demonstrated ability for attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and comfortably with all levels within the businesses
  • Able to drive for results - seeing projects through completion
  • Ability to analyze and interpret incomplete or inconclusive information
  • Requires word processing and graphic manipulation capabilities including use of embedded objects, video, etc
  • Willingness to learn the technical/functional skill to use Visio, Adobe Photoshop, SharePoint, Adobe Illustrator, VB Script, Nice label
  • Knowledge of desktop publishing systems and competency in PC usage
  • Knowledge of MS Access or other relational database platforms
  • Ability to work in a team environment
