The primary purpose of this job is to lead projects to meet Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (EHSS) Centers of Excellence (COE) goals as well as support all locations with EHSS initiatives. These initiatives include EHSS goals, compliance and improvement projects, hazard analysis, inspections or audits, permits and registrations, best practices, and temporary site EHSS engineer or manager openings.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Adheres to Integer Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
Responsible for EHSS at sites without an onsite EHSS representative and ensures site compliance with applicable regulations through completion of policies, procedures, training, reports, permits, required monitoring, or other records as required by local, state, and federal agencies, as well as company best practices.
Investigates, develops, plans, and employs projects independently, and/or in teams, as required to support EHSS COE goals and programs across the organization that ensure a work environment exists that is safe, secure, and environmentally friendly.
Leads cross-functional team activities on assigned projects to meet EHSS objectives which includes building and sustaining relationships with internal and external customers across the organization.
Independently evaluates, selects, and applies engineering techniques and procedures while using judgment to justify new projects or resolve identified concerns in order to improve EHSS programs and reduce risk.
Leads internal EHSS self-assessments, reviews or audits, and completes documentation and reports that summarize site EHSS compliance status.
Develops recommendations and coordinates activities in attaining or maintaining compliance with EHSS laws, regulations, company policies, standards, and best practices.
Reviews, interprets, and summarizes regulations and standards as needed and serves as a Subject Matter Expert for EHSS.
Provides interim EHSS coverage to sites with openings in EHSS positions.
Performs other duties as required.
Education & Experience:
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree EHS, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Science or other EHS field.
Minimum Experience: 4-5 years EHSS experience in a manufacturing and lab environments

Specialized Knowledge: Knowledge of US requirements (or equivalents) pertaining to OSHA, EPA, DOT, IATA, Lasers, Radiation, Process Safety, Emergency Response, Environmental permitting, Ergonomics, Security, and Worker's Compensation. Proficiency with Microsoft office applications and databases. Ability to solve technical and analytical problems.
Other: Ability to travel up-to 50%.
