Location: Brooklyn Park, Minnesota
Duration: 11 months
Responsible for architecting, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating prototype electro-mechanical devices including hardware and software. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a lab environment prototyping electrical designs with the software interface.
Design, debug, and test prototype hardware used in feasibility studies for next-generation hemodialysis equipment.
Write software that interfaces and controls hardware for feasibility studies.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure requirements of system are met.
Document design, test protocols and test reports.
Five years' experience in electrical design, preferably with electromechanical devices.
Two years' experience using LabVIEW or equivalent test software development.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Self-starter that can manage multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines.
Bachelors of Science in Engineering
3-5 years recent and relevant experience
