Engineering/Drafting Design Analyst that will support Engineer Team with analysis of new designs and improvements.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide drafting support for the Engineering team.
Review and assess the adequacy of technical requirements for cabinet hardware, wire bundles, and soldered circuits to meet systems testing requirements for OFP projects and schedules.
Creation and modification of electrical drawings, parts lists and writing Engineering Change Orders (ECO's).
Work Closely with engineering staff for guidence and review of all drawings and ECO's.
Deonstrated knowledge of Autocad Electrical or similar software.
Experience creating electrical wiring schematics and parts list in s standard format
Demonstrated knowledge of basic electrical theory.
Understanding of aircraft wiring practices and safety issues.
Ability to prioritize and adjust priorities to meet dynamic project schedules.
Maintains and follows configuration management practices and data storage as set in guiding documentation.
Design basic cale assemblies with minimal guidence by reading datasheets , ICD's, etc.
Perform Quality Assurance reviews on component development efforts.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.
High school graduate with 4+ years’ of relevant experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Must have AUTOCAD experience.
Must have experience working for the Navy and knowledge of their requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of aircraft upgrades and maintenance manuals.
