Our Client is a professional consulting/training development and manufacturing company that specializes in pilot, aircrew, ground-crew, and maintenance training solutions for rotary-wing, fixed-wing and tilt-rotor aircraft operations. The Electro-Mechanical Assembler role is a significant contributor to our military program equipment assembly and prototyping operations, responsible for assembling complex 'Black Box' systems. In order to assemble the systems, the successful candidate may first fabricate cable harnesses, integrate the harnesses with Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and other electronic devices, then will install all components into final product.
-Performs a variety of duties in manufacturing and final assembly
-Assembling components and making them as compound as much as possible then installing into simulators
-Fabricate and route cables (cut, strip wire, crimp and solder connections, clean, apply labels/marking), complex electro-mechanical assemblies and performance of testing procedures, fills in as-built-list (ABL) templates, conducts continuity checks, preps units for customer delivery, and assists with customer and quality inspections.
-Ability to follow written, verbal or electronic work instructions
-Maintain work areas neat and organized, records complete and accurate.
-Other duties as assigned.
