Electronics Repair Department Manager

Compensation: $50000.00 to $70000.00 yearly

Position Overview:
The Electronics Repair Department Manager is responsible for the overall performance of his/her Department. This includes managing/overseeing an efficient operation while accomplishing company objectives through workload management, quality control and performance management.

Essential Job Functions:
•Ensure department activities are performed in compliance with company policies and procedures
•Make recommendations as to the hiring, termination, advancement, promotion or any other change of status for department employees
•Team with Human Resources to recruit, select, and full-time new employees
•Address team member issues/problems/concerns
•Write/deliver employee evaluations
•Measure, analyze and report on established KPIs
•Oversee department planning and policy making. Recommend and implement actions/changes needed to increase efficiencies
•Coach/correct/counsel department employees
•Monitor the status and prioritization of work
•Perform planned and random quality inspections of completed processes of subordinates for purposes of evaluating performance
•Reviews Quality Control reports to determine and address areas of concern
•Provide feedback to Senior Manager of department operations
•Perform additional projects and/or assist on daily departmental responsibilities as needed

Job Requirements

Requirements: • Must demonstrate strong leadership qualities • At least two years managerial experience is required • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Must possess excellent organization and decision-making skills • Experience in electronics troubleshooting and repair is preferred, but not required • Must be able to think strategically & establish direction • Ability to balance and coordinate workload • Must possess good organizational and decision-making skills • Ability to learn new applications and programs • Must be able to lift 30 pounds to a height of 5 feet • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
