HR Systems Analyst

Title: HR Systems Analyst 
Location: Bothell, WA
Type: Contract


An emerging multi-product, global biotechnology company that develops and commercializes transformative therapies targeting cancer to make a meaningful difference in peoples lives. 

Position Summary
HR Systems Analyst is a member of the HR Technology team supporting Human Resources applications across multiple functions within the Human Resources organization. This role will be key in the success of a growing HR Operations & Technology function. 

This position will join a team of HR professionals collaborating across multiple groups to support the functional and technical needs of those teams. This individual will provide strategic and tactical consultation on system and process needs. The position requires solid technical foundation, domain knowledge, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to clearly communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Provide analytic and system admin support for HR technology needs of various levels of complexity up to and including large, multi-year, cross-functional projects
  • Collaborates in the planning, design, configuration, and deployment of new applications, as well as enhancements to existing applications
  • Leads analysis activities for HR technology projects, including business and process analysis, user interviews, requirements workshops, data analysis, and document analysis
  • Assesses, defines scope, and provides solution options/recommendations in concert with the HR Technology Manager for technology projects and enhancement efforts.
  • Works with internal and external customers to elicit and document requirements. These include, but are not limited to, business requirements, use cases / user stories, functional requirements, configuration requirements, data and reporting requirements and integration requirements
  • Key member of HR Technology team supporting the build of integrations for multiple internal and external clients.
  • Creates or contributes to test case development and execution
  • Executes and supports the customers in executing test cases
  • Supports customers in the oversight and management of implemented systems, including providing technical knowledge and expertise and system administration support as needed
  • Facilitates the collection, analysis and prioritization of enhancement requests
  • Provides insights and recommendations to the HR Technology Manager related to the development of new standards and best practices for business analysis
  • Partner closely with HR Technology Manager on prioritization and implementation of new technologies, modules and processes.
  • Key partner in the HR systems governance and change control management.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years experience implementing HR technology projects and supporting current systems as a business analyst and/or system administrator. This includes facilitating requirements elicitation sessions, writing requirements specifications, and conducting prioritization exercises.
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Cloud Platform Integrations (CPI) and Boomi build and management.
  • Bachelors Degree or higher in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • Proven ability to complete complex and ambiguous tasks with minimal supervision
  • Prior experience managing the requirements gathering process for small & medium sized, cross-functional projects
  • Highly organized, with proven track record of successfully representing user needs on complex projects
  • Proven ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, evaluate options and propose solutions to complex issues
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to assess user requests to determine true underlying needs
  • In depth knowledge of analysis, facilitation and information gathering techniques
  • Knowledge of integration setup and management.
  • Demonstrated experience driving to consensus while working with multiple customers with competing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in the life sciences industry
  • Background in HRIS sustainment and implementation projects.
  • Strong background with HR systems (HRIS, ATS, LMS & Compensation).
  • Experience defining, building, and testing integrations between systems.
  • Experience with one or more of the following software systems: UltiPro HRIS/Payroll, SAP SuccessFactors HCM suite, Jobvite Applicant Tracking System, Cornerstone OnDemand Talent Management system.
  • Experience working with cross functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
Education:
  • Bachelors Degree or higher in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
