Title: Help Desk Length: Contract to Hire Location: Irving, TX 75063 Looking for a new opportunity? Apply for this growing company's Help Desk Analyst position in the Construction/Contractor field. This position requires a self-confident, motivated person with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills who enjoys a fast-paced, team-driven environment. You'll be great at this Service Desk Analyst job if you can represent the Service Desk by liaising with 2nd and 3rd level teams to help transition new and changing services. You might find yourself creating knowledge articles and arranging training for other Service Desk Analysts when needed. You will spend your time handling complex end-user support issues and providing support to team members by focusing on restoring service to the end users. As the Help Desk Analyst, you should also be aware of how your role relates to IT projects and IT Service Management initiatives. It is also required for this position to understand Incident, Problem, Change Management and other processes. Candidates should also be aware of how these processes work together to provide superior support and high availability of our business. Job Requirements

Requirements: - Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds - You'll be a good fit for this position if you have technical skills to serve as escalation point for handling incidents and service requests related to application, operating system and other service related problems - This job will often be easier if you have ITIL certification - Strong problem-solving skills - The ideal candidate should be able to analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction - You'll be a good fit for this position if you have a combination of superior customer service skills and technical aptitude - Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well - Experience in one or more programming or scripting language - Comprehensive knowledge of Active Directory - TCP/IP experience - Microsoft Office experience preferred - MS Windows 10 experience - 3+ years' of experience supporting desktop/server operating systems and technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, Exchange and VMware - Able to work independently with a minimal amount of oversight ---We are scheduling interviews for this position THIS WEEK so if you are at all interested in being considered please apply online or send your resume directly to allyson.kulliver@rht.com---
