IT Business Analyst

Job Description

SkillStorm is seeking an IT Business Analyst for our client in Charlotte, North Carolina. Candidates must be able to work on SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position.

Job Description:

•       Supports the execution of a large-scale initiative, with enterprise-wide line of business impacts.  This role is in support of a multi-year program.

•       The specific role will serve as lead for an enterprise-wide initiative supporting a complex work stream.  The employee will partner with multiple line-of-business leaders or subject-matter-experts.

•       The position will be responsible for line-of-business partners to analyzing present-state capabilities and developing future-state approaches and facilitating implementation of solutions.  Candidate must be willing to learn line of business functions and demonstrate a willingness to fully partner with business subject-matter-experts, not solely managing through standardized processes and tools. This position will be highly visible to the lines-of-business and requires a person who is very comfortable with shifting priorities, demanding timelines, and executive oversight.  Must have good written skills and be comfortable presenting to senior leaders when required.

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

•       5 plus years of enterprise program/project management experience.

•       Strong Agile methodology experience and the ability to lead mid to large scaled projects to deliver Business features/stories within required timelines.

•       Strong experience in agile tools like Horizon/JIRA.

•       Ability to translate strategic objectives into milestones and tasks, prioritize work and meet deadlines.

•       Strong attention to detail with leadership, problem solving and organizational skills.

•       Demonstrated ability to communicate (written and verbal) with internal and external partners.

•       Ability to shift priorities as needed.

•       Process design, remediation and improvement skills.

•       Solid relationship management skills to gain buy-in, build consensus and resolve conflicts timely.

•       Strong risk and governance mindset.

•       Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) proficient.

•       PMP or six-sigma certification is a plus, but not a requirement.
