IT Field Technician - GA

Executes assigned regional project tasks in alignment to IT Integrations. Delivers both phone and desktop support to customers based in their assigned region(s). Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with IT projects onsite and/or remotely
  • Follow all IT policies, standards, and procedures and work according to service level agreements, within the service desk system
  • Responsible for assisting with IT issues with timely communication and escalations
  • Provide technical support to customers as required
  • Deploys and supports dental industry software, hardware and necessary cabling
  • Build strong and positive relationships with support and office teams
  • After-hours on-site and/or call support as required
  • 100% local travel and occasional overnight availability is required
  • Other IT related duties as assigned
  • Special projects as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Customer service delivery
  • Detailed oriented approach
  • Proficient in deploying network cabling (CAT 5/)
  • Experience in Microsoft enterprise environments
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 & 10
  • Working knowledge of LAN / WAN connectivity
  • Working knowledge switch, router, and wireless access points
  • Basic Understanding of VoIP

Education and/or Experience:

  • Associate's degree with relevant coursework in computer science or a related field
  • Minimum two years help desk support or related relevant experience
  • Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clear record; company vehicle is provided
  • Lift up to 50lbs
