Job Description: IT Helpdesk Support Specialist
Location: Cambridge, MA
Position Type: Permanent/FTE


Our client, a Biotechnology company, is looking to hire an IT Helpdesk Support Specialist to join their team!
Job Description:
  • Minimum of one to two years in IT helpdesk services
  • Have strong people skills, high level of self-motivation, and a strong work ethic
  • You have great trouble-shooting skills and are creative in resolving problems
  • Provide IT support to 20+ users at the Cambridge Office and Remote.
  • Onsite and Remote Support – mostly onsite ideally
  • Supporting Legal, Compliance, Corporate Communication, Business Development, and Admin staff onsite, some remote flexibility.
  • Provide Customer Support to internal staff with patience.
  • Building computers out, deploying laptops, performing maintenance and upgrades.
  • Shipping out laptops to remote users.
  • Performing Password Resets
  • Managing inventory – asset management
  • Working with the manager with projects – building servers, designing FAQS, documenting things, build out network lab computers
  • Provide IT support to multiple offices.
  • Experienced with Windows environment, Windows 10 and Windows Severs.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, One Drive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Zoom.
  • Provide Windows 10 support, password changes, printer troubleshooting, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
  • Provide support to the Facility Department.
  • Answering doors and sending and receiving packages.
  • Moving equipment and furniture.
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
