nTech Solutions, a leader in the recruitment of Information Technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a Software Developer in the Columbia, MD 21046 area.

Terms of Employment

●  Full-Time, Direct Hire

●  Onsite in Columbia, MD Monday-Thursday, with Friday’s remote

About the Technical Team

●  Two (2) co-founders who are hands-on in the operations and technical areas

●  One (1) senior developer based in the Columbia, MD office

●  One (1) senior developer working remotely from Virginia

●  One (1) tester in the Columbia, MD office

●  Four (4) mid-level developers based in India

Purpose of Position

This organization is growing very quickly and they desperately need more developers to keep up with their work. They are open to hiring 2-3 developers. If there is a candidate who has a desire to be a technical lead, they can accommodate that as well, as nobody is filling that void now.

Responsibilities

●  Approach Software Development as a craft, following best practices and writing testable code with a strong belief in unit testing and the value of agile development.

●  Refactor to drive continuous improvement in all aspects of the code.

●  Design and develop highly scalable and loosely coupled architectures

Required

●  3+ years of programming.

●  Technical experience building Restful services with .NET Core.

●  Able to think outside of the box and can work in a small, collaborative team environment.

●  Strong verbal and written skills.

Preferred

●  Experience working with the following languages is highly desired: C#, JavaScript, React.JS, SQL, Angular JS

●  Experience with SQL Server

●  AWS experience with SQS and lambda functions

●  Experience developing a SaaS product

●  Technical leadership experience

●  Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools
