Job Title: IT Project Manager

Duration: 1 year (with potential extension)
Location: Lisle ,IL (Remote,
work onsite if needed)

Description:

This Project Manager will oversee IT projects and enhancements for multiple product teams, coordinate with vendors, and proactively ensure timely delivery within budget. As we transition to a SAFe Agile environment, this position provides ample opportunity for growth, variety and leadership while impacting strategic initiatives such as eCommerce, Salesforce, Digital Transformation and Master Data Management.

Responsibilities
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Track, publish and follow up on action items and issues
Proactively remove roadblocks and escalate, as appropriate, to management
Monitor spending against budget milestones and take corrective action, as needed
Manage pre-project activities (including resource acquisition and SOWs) and drive all sprints through project completion
Work with the IT Managers and developers to determine work estimates and resource requirements to create a detailed sprint plan
Create and present project governance documents in conformance with the PMO governance process and policies
Manage third party vendor relationships, contract administration and SOW compliance
Enforce Agile best practices and serve as scrum master for multiple teams. Manage and guide the teams in executing Agile ceremonies and creating artifacts
Promote a strong working partnership between business and IT members of the team and insure excellent communications between team members, stakeholders, 3rd party vendors, and management, at all levels
Produce status reports and maintain project metrics
Control scope and manage the change control process

Technical Skills
Proficient with MS Office Suite: Word, Visio, (Advanced) Excel, MS Project and PowerPoint
Proficient using JIRA or similar tool for Agile project management
Familiarity with ServiceNow a plus

Qualifications
Proven ability to succeed in a fast paced, demanding cross-functional environment working with business users, project team members, IT development personnel and vendors
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills
Proven ability to handle complexity (technical and organizational)
Strong understanding of systems. Able to understand technical terms and system design considerations
Curious, goal oriented and highly self-motivated with a passion for driving transformative change
Strong customer service orientation; enjoys people and creates raving fans
Excellent written and oral communication skills; comfortable presenting to all levels of business and technical audiences
Work experience in OEM manufacturing or aftermarket parts industry a plus
Experience leading 3rd party software implementations a plus
Located within commuting distance of Lisle, IL preferred (available to work onsite as necessary)

Education requirement: BS in Computer Science or Engineering, or 8 years applicable experience with a BS in another technical field
Years of Experience: At least 6 years
Required/Preferred Certifications: Scrum Master certification preferred
