The candidate will be working with the Project Management Office governance team to provide support to all levels of the IT organization. Duties will include, but are not limited to, defining, creating documentation and training on new and updating process as necessary, acting as functional SME for PMO tools and reporting. Acting as an Agile Champion and assisting the transformation of processes from waterfall methodology to Agile framework. This candidate will also be responsible for working with senior leadership to identify, propose and implement solutions and reporting required of the tools to meet their needs and presenting those solutions for approval.
Strong project management experience is required as this person will be acting as the main SME within the PMO charged with coming up with new ways to utilize the PPM tools in order to enhance Frontier’s overall project management approaches and best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in MIS or related field preferred.
Proficient in both waterfall and Agile Project Management
2+ Years experience working in an Agile environment
5+ Years of Project Management experience (PMP or CAPM certification is a plus)
Software life cycle knowledge
Strong leadership skills with the ability to work as part of a project team.
Aptitude to quickly become systems expert working with the applications/systems within Frontier
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Training and courseware development
Experience acting as an Agile coach
Creating quality presentation materials for all levels of the organization - including Executive level
Ability to manage relationships on all levels from Team Member to Executives
Ability to delivery Executive Level work-product such as presentations, plans, etc.
Competency in project estimation techniques
Ability to speak to and recommend standardized Agile Best Practices
Proficient in Atlassian Jira, Confluence, JQL, Jira integrated Project Management Plug-ins (ex: Portfolio for Jira, Big Picture, Tempo, etc.)
SharePoint, MS Office Products: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint
Testing Tools such as HP ALM, AccelQ, etc.
Agile Coach Certification
Agile transformation experience (strong plus)
Jira Administration experience
Certified Scrum Master
