Job Description


Will act as subject matter expert for MAC hardware and software support issues in the Client's environmentTroubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for Windows and MAC devices
  • Document solutions for MAC and Windows support issues
  • Will act as the go-to resource who helps resolve complex issuesWill match project priorities to industry best practicesProvide training to consultant teams and end users as neededEnsuring that KB articles are accurate and sufficient for 1st level supportWhere necessary, writing, amending or removing KB articlesEnsuring and coordinating adequate level of understanding within the Service Center to ensure issue resolutionParticipate in the creation of training materialTrack and document process changes and ad hoc reporting requirementsLead continuous improvement actionsTrain, mentor, and coordinate the activities of other members of the team

    Job Requirements


    Prior experience as a Service Desk agent1-4 years' experience as an IT Specialist subject matter expert for MAC laptop and wireless devicesA keen interest in new technologies, ability to learn quickly and high level of motivationKnowledge of SharePoint Administration and configuring permissions in the SharePoint environmentKnowledge of Information Management PoliciesDocumented history of working in the area for which they are an expertAbility to understand industry best practices and can communicate those insights to help improve business modelAttendance and schedule adherence are requirements of this positionLevel of Knowledge, Skills, and Authority:Knows and applies advanced concepts, practices and procedures of particular field of specializationMay adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment and techniques to meet the more complex requirements of the positionUnder minimal supervision, performs work that is varied and that may be somewhat difficult in nature, but usually involves limited responsibilityResolves most questions and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher levelsThe preceding job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
