IT Support Analyst

Job Description

Provides basic level technical support for hardware, software, application, and operating system issues for remote end users.  Support is limited to PC break and fix and re-imaging, anti-virus remediation, account unlocks, password resets, and sales orders and purchase orders unlocks.  Documents and tracks incident tickets in reporting tool, including documenting and dispatching work to IT personnel. •         Respond to telephone calls for basic level technical support including unlocking user accounts, assisting with resetting a user’s password, and unlocking orders and/or POs in WESNET.  •         Document and escalate any requests (beyond the scope of the work defined above) to the appropriate IT Support Specialist (WESNET or PC) •         Participate in reimaging of PCs and Laptops. •         Collaborate with other IT personnel and business units on assigned projects. •         Participate as a team member on major project implementations and normal day to day incidents and requests.

Job Requirements

EXPERIENCE: •         1 year work experience providing systems support.EDUCATION: •        Associates' Degree in Information Systems or equivalent requiredSKILLS/REQUIREMENTS: •         Demonstrated proficiency in computer hardware and software •         Ability to identify measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system. •         Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming. •         Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personnel services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. •         Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills. Working Environment: •         General Office – Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.   physical requirements: •         Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time.   mental requirements: •         Employee required to problem-solve.  •         Employee required to communicate with the public.
